Just read it. I beg you.
First off, Texas is easily the best venue in the Big 12. No question about that. The UFWF crew has been to Texas, Oklahoma, and TCU and enjoyed Oklahoma the least. Brutal tailgating scene. Watered down beer due to state laws. Tailgate menus were very tame and definitely not even in the same universe as Texas when it comes to extravagance. TCU was tame as well but Fort Worth vs Norman/OKC is a 1st round knock out. Plus TCU’s campus is unbelievably pristine and the ladies walking around in cowboy boots and cut off shorts sure doesn’t hurt the eyes.
And I can definitely understand ranking West Virginia like 3-5 in the conference, but dead last after KANSAS?!!!!! I would actually hope, for the wellness of his mental state, that the contributor for this site has never stepped foot in the city of Morgantown or anywhere around Milan Puskar Stadium. Because if he has, and he still published the inaccuracies in his enormous five sentence write up, then he tuly is the worst “journalist/ranker/sports fan” in the history of sports fan ranker journalists. What a clown. Every fan who has visited Morgantown for game day has had glowing reviews of their eastern most Big 12 brothers. We put on a show. Maybe Scott Bultman should visit sometime….
I wouldn’t be able to properly do this list justice until I have visited all the Big 12 venues, but if I had to guess, based on what I have heard from fellow fans on experience, I would say:
- Texas (DKR Texas Memorial Stadium)
- Iowa State (Jack Trice Stadium)
- West Virginia (Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium)
- TCU (Amon G Carter Stadium)
- Oklahoma (Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium)
- Kansas State (Bill Snyder Family Stadium)
- Oklahoma State (Boone Pickens Stadium)
- Texas Tech (Jones AT&T Stadium)
- Baylor (McClane Stadium)
- Kansas (Memorial Stadium)
