Thats right folks. It’s the biggest, made up by one team and not really understood or agreed upon by the other team, rivalry in college football today. Oh boy. I know everybody is just dying for this week to hurry along and get to Saturday so we can see these two heavyweights slug it out at historic Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in Hartford, Connecticut.
The tail of the tape:
University of Central Florida Golden Knights (3-3, 1-1 American)
UCF comes into this game off a loss to powerhouse Temple but won their previous 2 games by a combined 57 points. The Knights trail this storied rivalry all time 2-1 but are looking to even the series and take the beautiful Civil Conflict Trophy back to Orlando after losing 40-13 last year.
University of Connecticut Huskies (3-4, 1-3 American)
UCONN comes in having lost 3 out of their last 4 but always seem to get up for this matchup. Hell, they invented it! I look for “The Rent” to be rocking on Saturday for this one.
See you at P&WSatRF at HIGH NOON (Not really, I’ll obviously be at the West Virginia-TCU game)
